Activate your biology with light
Phototherapy with red light (630-660 nm) and near infrared (810-850 nm) delivers photons that pass through the skin and reach tissues and mitochondria. It is a non-UV, non-invasive and well-tolerated energy for frequent use.
In the mitochondria, photons interact with cytochrome c oxidase, release nitric oxide and optimize the respiratory chain. As a result, ATP synthesis - the energy "currency" - increases and cellular oxidative stress decreases.
The combination of red light (surface, collagen) and near infrared (deep planes, muscle and joints) improves microcirculation, modulates inflammation and accelerates tissue recovery.
